Gastroesophageal reflux disease and asthma are the two diseases which are in a close relationship with each other. Occurance of one of these diseases causes a risk factor for the another. Anti-reflux treatment in asthmatic patients is a focus of interest for a long time. In this report, the impact of anti-reflux treatment on the prognosis of asthma particularly in uncontrolled asthma, nocturnal asthma and asthmatic children with obesity is evaluated.
