Asthma is a chronic inflammatory disease of airways. Exercise is a triggering factor for respiratory symptoms. A majority of patients with asthma might have to restrict their physical activity in daily life due to exercise-induced bronchospasm. For a long time it is of interest for authorities what the pathogenesis of exercise-related symptoms is and how to approach to these symptoms for making correct diagnosis of asthma. In this paper, relation between asthma and exercise will be assesed from different points of view and pathogenesis, diagnosis, differential diagnosis and treatment modalities will be discussed in lights of literature data.
